Managing low back pain can be challenging, but incorporating small changes into your daily routine can make a big difference. Here are some tips to help you manage your pain effectively:
- Start your day with some small movements or stretches to reduce stiffness and prepare your body for your daily activity
- Take mini breaks: if you sit for work, take breaks to stand or stretch out your legs. If you walk or stand on your feet all day then make sure to take breaks to sit when possible.
- Drinking more water throughout the day will automatically force you to get up plus you increase your hydration
- Take a short walk after lunch or dinner, increased walking has been shown to reduce low back pain for patients suffering from disc pain
